ODU President Applauds Kogi State Government’s Swift Action on Ogori/Magongo Security Problems

LThe President of the Ogori Descendants Union (ODU), Dr. Gabriel Aiso, has commended the Kogi State Government for its prompt and decisive response to the recent security challenges affecting Ogori/Magongo communities.

The Union had earlier raised serious concerns over rising incidents of insecurity along the Ogori/Magongo axis, particularly threats to residents, travelers, and economic activities within the area.

According to Dr. Aiso, the swift intervention by the State Government and security agencies has brought renewed confidence, hope, and reassurance to the people.

He noted that the deployment of security personnel and enhanced surveillance measures demonstrate a clear commitment by the Government to address the Ogori/Magongo security situation and protect lives and property.

“This timely and proactive response reflects a strong dedication to restoring peace, stability, and normalcy within Ogori/ Magongo communities.

It also strengthens public trust and highlights the importance of collaboration between government authorities and local communities in tackling security challenges,” he stated.

The Ogori Descendants Union pledged its continued cooperation with the State Government and security agencies, urging residents to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and supportive of ongoing security efforts.

Dr. Aiso expressed confidence that sustained collaboration, open communication, and proactive engagement will help ensure lasting peace, improved safety, and accelerated development across Ogori/Magongo LGA
